The childhood home of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj where he spent his early years. This historic twin-structured fort consists of Purandar and Vajragad (Rudramal). The fort features the memorial of young Shivaji's residence, the ancient Kedareshwar Temple with a beautiful Shiva Linga, and numerous water cisterns showcasing advanced water management. The fort offers stunning 360-degree views of the Sahyadri mountain ranges. The Muranjan village at base is believed to be birthplace of Murarbaji Deshpande, a brave Maratha warrior.
